Get Involved
Statistics show that nearly every family has in one way or another been touched by cancer; either through family or a friend. It is imperative that research continues if we are to halt this dreaded disease. This is what the Cancer Challenge is about - making your actions count.
So what can you do? Read on for a list of ideas. If any of these ideas interest you and you wish to contact Graeme, please refer to the Get in Touch section in the column to the left.
Join the Ride
Join Graeme on his cancer research bike ride. The ride is an annual event (starting in March) and lasts for 12 days, traveling through various towns and cities. Details on request. It will require a donation to cancer research and an amount for expenses on-road.
Riders can be local Tasmanians, or originate interstate/overseas. 10-15 persons will be catered for, in hotel/motel accommodation, B&B, lunch on the road, and evening meals. Mountain bikes can be hired. A backup bus is provided.
It will be an ideal token of respect for someone you have lost or are losing to cancer.
Donate
Make a donation. This is one of the simplest and most effective ways you can help the Cancer Challenge cause.
See the Donation Box in the column to the left for more information on how to make a donation. Remember 100% of your donation will go to the Cancer Council of Tasmania.
Tell Us Your Idea
We are always looking for new and innovative ways to inject life into our fundraising efforts. Perhaps you can contribute by suggesting a new idea? If you wish, this could be a great way to receive recognition.
