The Tasmanian Cancer Challenge Ride
Graeme Milburn's 30th Annual Ride
Graeme Milburn AM, O.A.M, cyclist from Devonport, is on his 30th ride around Tasmania in a continuing effort to raise funds for cancer research here in Tasmania.
Statistics show that one in two men and one in three women will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85 years. That means that cancer will affect almost every family in some way or another. It is therefore vital that we invest in research in order to eliminate this dreadful disease.
Join the Party - Help Us Make $25,000
Over the past 29 years, we have raised $646,680.00 for cancer research in Tasmania and hope to add another $25,000.00 to this total in 2011.
There are lots of ways you can get involved. The simplest way is to donate some money. You can do this when Graeme passes through your home town (dates and places are listed here) or via mail (see Donation Box in column to the left).
The Cancer Challenge ride is once a year, but donations are accepted all year round.
